                               RESOLUTION NO. 19373
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF VARIOUS PORTIONS OF HIXSON PIKE,
                   LUPTON DRIVE, AND DIXIE DRIVE MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON SATURDAY,
                   APRIL 25, 1992 FOR THE PRESENTATION OF
                   "OPENING DAY PARADE" SPONSORED BY THE
                   DUPONT-RIVERMONT YOUTH RECREATION
                   ASSOCIATION, INC. UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the northbound curb lane of Hixson Pike from 

       Lupton Drive to Dupont School, the temporary closing of the
       eastbound traffic lane of Lupton Drive from Hixson Pike to Dixie
       Drive and the temporary closing of the southbound traffic lane of 

       Dixie Drive from Lupton Drive to Field No. 4 in Rivermont Park on 

       Saturday, April 25, 1992 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for the
       presentation of "Opening Day Parade" under the sponsorship of the 

       Dupont-Rivermont Youth Recreation Association, Inc. provided that 

       the sponsor shall provide traffic cones and warning signs in
       accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto and 
shall
       provide, at all times, an access lane for fire and other 
emergency
       vehicles.
